About

The Northeastern Wisconsin O Gaugers were founded in 1999 by several O gauge enthusiasts from the Marinette – Menominee area of Northeastern Wisconsin.  The club has been in continuous existence since its foundation.

The club’s main goal is to have fun and promote the hobby of “O” gauge trains. The club is a non profit organization that also awards several train sets to youngsters in the community. The youngsters are chosen at random throughout the year at our various public displays, and the sets are awarded once a year through the help of the Salvation Army. The youngsters are, of course then invited to come run their newly acquired train on the layout with the members. The main objective is to promote good family fun and participation, and to give back to the communities of Northeastern Wisconsin as thank you for the continued support.

Today, NEW O Gaugers are based in Green Bay, WI and have a membership of 45 O gauge hobbiests.  Members come from all over Northeast Wisconsin.

The club currently has a club house in Forest Junction with a wonderful layout measuring 40 ft. x 60 ft. The layout features three mainline tracks and numerous spurs.  The club also has a large, modular traveling layout that is displayed at various community events throughout the year,
