About

The Northeastern Wisconsin O Gaugers were founded in 1999 by several O gauge enthusiasts from the Marinette – Menominee area of Northeastern Wisconsin.  The club has been in continuous existence since its foundation.

The club’s main goal is to have fun and promote the hobby of “O” gauge trains. The club is a non profit organization that also awards several train sets to youngsters in the community each year. The youngsters are chosen at random throughout the year at our various public displays, and the sets are awarded once a year through the help of the Salvation Army. The youngsters are then invited to come run their newly acquired train on the layout with the members. The main objective is to promote good family fun and participation, and to give back to the communities of Northeastern Wisconsin as thank you for the continued support.

Today, NEW O Gaugers are based in Green Bay, WI and has a membership of 45 O gauge hobbyists.  Members come from all over Northeast Wisconsin.

The club currently is located at 340 N. Broadway Ave., Green Bay.  Through the generosity of Titletown Brewing and Base Companies, the club as a room in the remodeled and modified Cannery.  We run trains on our modular layout that is 20 ft. x 30 ft.  The club is currently adding extensions to the existing layout to provide for a variety of railroading.
